- Pungent taste is called "katu rasa " in Sanskrit .
- Pungent taste is light,drying and heating in nature
Effects on body and mind

- sharpens sense organ
- increases digestion strength
- Carminative
- Helps to relieve intestinal worms 🪱 🐛

WHILE TAKING FOOD -Pungent taste should b taken in the last part of the diet,after consuming sweet,sour and salt tastes
Contraindications - bleeding disorder,pittha disorder like burning sensation,high fever,gastritis,excessive thirst,very lean person,sexual disorder .peptic ulcer,asthma,colitis ,skin condition
