summer healthy drinks according to ayurveda
HAI DEARS HOW ARE YOU ALL? TODAY I WILL B posting some COOL recipes to keep us cool in this summer
According to Ayurveda our diet should be based on our body constitution ,
- SUMMER is hot season we must hydrate enough to beat the heat .when you think about hot climate what is the first drink that comes to your mind....off course coconut water,this wonder drink is sometimes used in oral hydration therapy .
- AMALAKI juice 🥤 (INDIAN gooseberry )
- ALOE VERA
- Watermelon
- GRAPE
- Cucumber
Here are some refreshing summer drinks.....
1.Buttermilk,chaas or Takra
In 1 cup of organic home made curd add 4 cup of water ,churn them in a blender for about 3-5 minutes .Remove the top,heavy,buttery foam.Add 1/2 tsp of roasted cumin and himalayan salt.Garnish with mint leaves or coriander leaves and serve
2.Unripe Mango drink or AAM PAANA
Take 2 unripe green mangoes ,boil them in water ,simmer(for about 15 minutes )till you can take the peel off.COOL peel remove the pulp from the seed and grind with enough water to make a thick paste.MIX IN unrefined sugar ,roasted cumin,1 pinch of lemon,1 pinch of pepper,1 pinch of clove,1 pinch of cardamom

3.pomegranate juice
Pomegranate juice Made from sweet fruit seeds (not sour) is a wonderful pittha pacifying summer drink.Pick the juicy,heavy ,sweet and deep red pomegranate .cut the top crown and make 4-5 vertical slits to open up the fruit and separate the seeds in a bowl of water.Now blend the seeds just enough to be able to strain the rest.FOR 2 cups of seeds,add 1 cup of water.You can add some Himalayan salt to this super drink add 3 -4 dates also it make our drimk more delicious
